Gate House Bridge
Viewpoint · Croton Reservoir
Bridge across the Croton Reservoir that is used by almost nobody. Great spot to drive across, or to stop and take in the scenery - beautiful at sunset. Recommend driving on the roads south of the bridge, which are also very scenic.
Croton Gorge
Vistawander
Croton Gorge
Viewpoint · Croton-on-Hudson
Massive stone dam, with bridge you can walk across on top, where you get a great view of the Croton Reservoir and waterfalls crashing down below. There’s also a park at the bottom.
Vistawander
East River Overlook
Viewpoint · New York
A nice view of the East River and perfect place to chill with some friends
Croton Point Park Beach

Croton Point Park Beach
Beach · Croton-on-Hudson
A beautiful beach on the Hudson. There’s the main beach with the buoys, but I recommend the walking down the beach to the right, where it gets wilder and empty. Accessible by land or by boat. Beautiful for sunset, but be aware the park closes at dusk. Parking sometimes is charged for $5.
Staircase Falls
Plunge · Wildlost
Staircase Falls
Waterfall · Hereford
Peaceful falls by a bend of the Gunpowder River. Nice spot to relax and listen to nature.
